A very grand celebration was held on 18th November 2017 with the inauguration of main program of the Mahotasav by Rt. Hon’ble President of Nepal Ms. Bidhya Devi Bhandari in august gathering of thousands of people from different walk of life.

In her address she praised the service done by Brahma kumaris organization throughout the country for its contribution in uplifting the moral and spiritual character of human beings. The program was graced by notably Rajyogi Brahma Kumar Brij Mohan Ananda, Additional General Secretary of Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwyaria Vishwa Vidyalyaya, Mt. Abu, India. Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Usha didi, Internationally renowned speaker, Mr. Abu, Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Raj didi, Director Brahma Kumaris Nepal among others & gave their valuable speech.

In the two day long talk program with two sessions morning and evening each day 19 & 20th November, Internationally renowned speaker Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Usha didi delivered her lecture on Positive Life Style through Rajyoga  early in the morning and  Tension Management in the evening.

On 19th November in course of presenting their spiritual discourse Rajyogi BK Brij Mohan Ananda and Rajyogini BK Usha didi shed light on Non-violence & truth of Gita Gyan at Chhaling, Bhaktapur, while in the dame day evening BK Brij Mohan Ananda delivered a impressive talk on Healthy and Prompt Administration for Secretaries and Joint Secretaries at the meeting hall of National Planning Commission of Nepal at Singha Durbar premises.

Similarly talk program on Selfless dedication for social service was held fro senior lions & Social workers at Mahendra Police Club premises on 20th November.

Among other program organized to celebrate gala occasion of Golden Jubilee year, notable are mass blood donation program of BKs held at Brahma Kumaris Kathmandu premises on 11th November. Walkathon of BKs from Brahma Kumaris Kathmandu, Thamel to Hansamandap ground, Pashupati on 16th November. Same way talk program for Doctors in Peace, Happiness & Health at Grande International Hospital was held on 17th November.

Also significant among others are construction of 54 feet high Shiva Lingum, a huge and grand model depicting glimpses of Golden Age, the heaven built for public views.     

Same way Brahma Kumaris Biratnagar, Sub region also celebrated Golden Jubilee organizing different programs at different places such as Biratnagar, Dharan and Damak. Main program held at Biratnagar was was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Bijaya Kumar Gachhedar and graced by Rajyogini BK Usha didi and Rajyogini BK Raj didi, BK Geeta didi and other important personalities amidst a function attended by tens of thousands. Other program held at Dharan was  inaugurated by Regional Administrator Mr. Rajeshwor Man Singh in the presence of BK Usha didi and BK Raj didi. BK Usha didi delivered her 3 day lecture on Gita Gyan and Stress free happy living and same way she also delivered her lecture on Damak. 60 feet tall Shiva Lingum and live Jhanki of devis also attracted thousands of people.

There will be different program to commemorate Golden Jubilee year on different occasions throughout this year.
